After completing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Auckland University, Richard joined U.D.C Finance in 1983.

He gained a broad base of experience in commercial finance, before assuming a Corporate Account Manager’s role AMP Financial Corporation Limited, in 1986. In this role he specialised in servicing a small number of corporate accounts, with an emphasis in the commercial property and development sectors.

During 1988 Richard became self employed in Merchant Banking, where he concentrated on providing finance broking services, particularly in the Auckland and Waikato Regions. In subsequent years Richard has established a high profile in this field, and has developed a strong an loyal client following in both Auckland and the Waikato Regions.

Richard has specialised in the financing of commercial property, both development an investment, and has been involved in financing a number of Auckland the Waikato’s major developments over the past few years.

Richard is a founding shareholder of Global Pacific Corporation Limited, and has assumed responsibility for the management and day to day operation of the Global Pacific finance broking team.
